The ABB ACQ580-04 drive (order code 3AXD50000532858) is a LV AC wall-mounted drive purpose-built for water and wastewater applications. It delivers 700 Hp in heavy-duty (UL) use at 460 V, pulling 700 A continuous. For light-overload profiles — typical of pump and fan curves — it carries 807 A at the same voltage, giving headroom for variable-torque starts without oversizing the drive. Input is three-phase 440-480 V, 50/60 Hz, so it lands on standard North American 480 V distribution without a step-down transformer. The IP00 open-type enclosure means it mounts inside a panel or MCC — no onboard environmental seal, so the cabinet handles the dust and splash protection.
Integration notes — panel fit and wiring
