Drive module for solar pump duty
It delivers 18.5 kW normal-use output at 38 A, with a heavy-duty rating of 15 kW at 32 A for sustained overload scenarios. Input accepts 380–480 V three-phase, 47.5–63 Hz, and the module is rated IP20 for panel-mount installation in an R3 frame.
Output ratings and duty cycles
Three duty ratings are defined: light-overload (18.5 kW, 36 A), normal-use (18.5 kW, 38 A), and heavy-duty (15 kW, 32 A). Apparent power output is 26 kV·A, matching the normal-use current at 400 V.
Power and thermal profile
Power consumption at full load is 497 W, with standby loss at 37 W — relevant for off-grid solar arrays where idle draw drains batteries. Maximum ambient temperature is 50 °C; operating humidity 5–95 % non-condensing. Sound level 58.8 dB(A) at rated load. The R3 frame includes a control unit and a lithium coin cell (CR2032, 220 mAh) for real-time clock backup.
Control and I/O
Integrated I/O: 2 analog inputs, 2 analog outputs, 6 digital inputs, 3 digital outputs. Communication is via CAN bus — no onboard Ethernet (0 Industrial Ethernet interfaces). For Modbus TCP or PROFINET, a separate fieldbus adapter is required. Efficiency class is IE2.
