Field-fit details
The 3AXD50001109554: Input accepts 380–415 V at 47.5–63 Hz, so it covers 50 Hz and 60 Hz sites without a rewire. The 14 W standby loss is low enough to skip forced cooling in a ventilated enclosure. IE2 efficiency is the baseline for this generation — not premium, but fine for constant-torque pump and fan loads where the drive spends most of its time at speed. Ambient max is 40 °C; if the pump house hits 50 °C in summer, derate the output current or add airflow.
I/O and comms
Two analog inputs and two analog outputs are on board — enough for a pressure transducer and a speed reference, plus a feedback loop. Six digital inputs and three digital outputs handle start/stop, fault reset, and a run indicator. Communication is CAN-based; no onboard Ethernet, so if the site runs Modbus TCP or PROFINET, plan for a fieldbus adapter module. The control unit is included, so no extra ordering step for the brains.
Lifecycle status is active — this is a current-production drive, not a phase-out or NRND part. No pin-compatible alternative exists in the ACQ580 family at this rating — the 09A5-4 is the specific normal-duty variant for 4 kW / 9.4 A. For heavy-duty loads (3 kW / 7.2 A), the same hardware handles the derated curve.
