Acti9 CT Contactor – A9C15183
It clips onto a 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail and occupies 2 x 9 mm pitches (18 mm wide), so it fits neatly into a compact modular enclosure alongside other Acti9 devices. Rated operational current is 25 A in AC-7A category and 8.5 A in AC-7B — the AC-7A figure governs resistive loads like lighting or heating, while AC-7B covers inductive loads typical of small motors. Control voltage is 230 V AC at 50 Hz, with an inrush of 15 VA and a hold-in draw of 3.8 VA.
For motor loads, the AC-7B rating of 8.5 A is the figure to use — that's the inductive switching capacity. The 230 V AC control coil is standard for European panel builds, and the 50/60 Hz tolerance means it works on both common mains frequencies. Pollution degree 2 is the typical industrial environment where only non-conductive pollution occurs, with occasional condensation.
The 18 mm width (2 x 9 mm pitches) matches the Acti9 modular system, so it aligns with MCBs, RCDs, and other Acti9 devices on the same rail. Power circuit terminals are tunnel type: accept up to 2 x 2.5 mm² flexible or 1 x 6 mm² rigid. Control circuit terminals take 2 x 2.5 mm² flexible or 2 x 1.5 mm² rigid. Wire stripping length is 10 mm, tightening torque 0.8 N·m. The 2 NO pole contact composition gives two normally-open main contacts.
