Rated operational current is 25 A in AC-7A category (general-use resistive and inductive loads up to 250 V AC) and 8.5 A in AC-7B category (motor loads). The control coil is 230 V AC at 50 Hz, drawing 15 VA inrush and 3.8 VA hold-in. That means the coil's steady-state draw is low enough to daisy-chain multiple contactors on a single PLC output without exceeding the output's current rating. The contactor is certified to IEC 61095 and EN 61095 — the standards for electromechanical contactors for household and similar purposes — and carries an AC-1 utilisation category per IEC 60947-4 for non-inductive or slightly inductive loads.
Integration notes
The 18 mm width means it takes one standard modular pitch. Terminals are tunnel type: power circuit accepts up to 2 x 2.5 mm² flexible or 1 x 6 mm² rigid; control circuit accepts 2 x 2.5 mm² flexible or 2 x 1.5 mm² rigid. Wire stripping length is 10 mm; tightening torque is 0.8 N·m. IP20 body protection (IP40 in modular enclosure) means it is suited for dry indoor panels only — not for washdown or outdoor locations. The contactor is remotely and manually controlled with a maintained control signal. Local signalling is via a colour indicator. Switching frequency is rated at 100 operations per day — fine for on/off control of lighting, HVAC contactors, or small motor starters, but not for high-cycling applications like rapid conveyor indexing.
