The A9C22515 is a Schneider Electric Acti9 iCT contactor — a 2-pole, 220 V AC 50 Hz coil unit rated for 16 A in AC-7A duty (resistive/motor-heating-lighting loads) and 6 A in AC-7B (motor loads).
Rated operational voltage is 250 V AC, insulation voltage 500 V AC, so it handles single-phase line voltage with headroom on the insulation side. Electrical durability is 100,000 cycles at 16 A AC-7A, and 30,000 cycles at 6 A AC-7B or AC-3 — enough for daily switching in a lighting or heating schedule, but not for a high-cycle machine. Mechanical durability is 1,000,000 cycles, so the mechanism outlasts the electrical contacts under rated load. The coil draws 15 VA inrush, 1.3 W holding at 250 V AC — a standard PLC or relay output can drive it, but check the maintained control signal requirement (not momentary).
The IP20 body is fine for enclosed panels; the modular enclosure also carries an IP40 rating, so it's suitable for surface-mount enclosures in dry indoor locations. Tunnel-type terminals accept up to 6 mm² rigid on the power side and 2.5 mm² on the control side — torque both circuits to 0.8 N·m.
