The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles both overload (thermal bimetal) and short-circuit (magnetic solenoid) protection in one device.
The 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity provides personal protection against direct contact — standard for socket-outlet circuits in most domestic and commercial TN earthing systems. The device is suitable for isolation and has a contact position indicator — green/red flag visible through the front window — so you can verify the contacts are open without relying on the toggle position alone.
Integration notes
Neutral is on the left, which matters for busbar orientation in a single-phase board. Screw-clamp terminals: top accepts 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible; bottom accepts 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible. Wire stripping length: 14 mm for the top connection, 13 mm for the bottom. The device is padlockable with a 4 mm diameter padlock for lockout/tagout. The outgoer position means it's intended for final subcircuit protection, not as a main switch.
