The A9D54225: Rated 10 000 A Icn at 220...240 V AC 50 Hz per EN/IEC 61009-2-1, with an ultimate breaking capacity (Icu) of 15 kA at the same voltage per EN/IEC 60947-2. The Icn figure governs the standard service-breaking duty for the RCBO; the higher Icu gives headroom for fault clearance under industrial fault conditions.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail (35 mm symmetrical rail per EN 60715). Occupies 4 pitches at 9 mm between poles — 36 mm total width. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1...35 mm² rigid or 1...25 mm² flexible (with or without ferrule); strip length 12 mm, tightening torque 2 N·m. IP40 in a distribution enclosure, IP20 for the terminals — adequate for enclosed panel installation, not for wet-area exposure.
Protection characteristics
Thermal-magnetic trip unit with C-curve (magnetic tripping limit 5...10 x In). The 25 A rated current and 300 mA earth-leakage sensitivity protect a 2-pole outgoing circuit against overload, short-circuit, and earth faults in a single device. Integrated earth-leakage protection eliminates the need for a separate RCCB upstream for that circuit. Local signalling shows ON, OFF, and fault trip status on the toggle.
