The Schneider Electric A9F68450 is a 4-pole Acti9 iT60 miniature circuit breaker rated 50 A with a C-curve, built for distribution panels where you need a thermal-magnetic trip that handles moderate inrush without nuisance tripping. It's dual-rated to EN/IEC 60947-2 and EN/IEC 60898-1, so the same breaker qualifies for industrial panel (60947-2) and final-distribution (60898-1) duty; the 60947-2 rating gives you the higher short-circuit capacity numbers that matter when you're coordinating with upstream gear in a mine or mill switchroom. The breaking capacity tells the real story: 36 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 20 kA at 240 V, 10 kA at 415 V, and 6 kA at 440 V — all per IEC 60947-2. The 10 kA Icn at 400 V per IEC 60898-1 is the commercial-distribution rating; the 60947-2 numbers are what the panel designer uses for the SCCR declaration on the nameplate.
The removable comb busbar is already accounted for in the mounting mode — you can bus the line side across multiple breakers without extra hardware. Terminals accept 1–35 mm² rigid or 1–25 mm² flexible on a single terminal top or bottom; strip length 14 mm, torque to 3.5 N·m. IP20 B finger-safe terminals keep the panel builder safe during commissioning.
