Arc fault detection + MCB in one DIN-rail module
It protects a 20 A final circuit against overloads, short-circuits (C-curve, magnetic trip 5...10 x In), and series/parallel arcing faults that standard MCBs cannot detect.
Depth is 72 mm, height 81 mm — fits within the envelope of a standard Acti9 distribution board without protruding past the front cover. Cable entry is from the top, which is the standard orientation for Acti9 busbar feeders.
Designed and tested to IEC 60898-1 for MCB performance and EN/IEC 62606 for arc fault detection. Limitation class 3 per IEC 60898-1 means the device limits let-through energy in the highest category — relevant for downstream equipment protection. Pollution degree 2, overvoltage category III, and tropicalisation severity B (28-day damp heat per IEC 60068-2-30) qualify it for unconditioned indoor environments. Local signalling shows ON, OFF, and fault trip status via the toggle position.
