The Schneider Electric A9K23210 is a 2-pole miniature circuit breaker from the Acti9 iK60N series, rated 10 A at 30 °C with a B tripping curve (3–5 x In magnetic trip). Breaking capacity is 6000 A Icn at 400 V AC 50/60 Hz conforming to EN/IEC 60898-1.
The B curve (magnetic trip between 3 and 5 times In) is the most sensitive standard curve — it trips on moderate overloads faster than C or D curves, making it the usual choice for resistive loads, lighting circuits, and general-purpose socket outlets where inrush is low. Rated 10 A at 30 °C ambient; the thermal-magnetic trip unit is temperature-sensitive, so derating applies above 30 °C — a panel running at 40 °C will see the continuous current capacity drop. The 2-pole configuration protects both phase and neutral (or two phases) in a single module width of 36 mm (4 x 9 mm pitches).
Tunnel-type terminals accept 1–25 mm² rigid or 1–16 mm² flexible copper, with a strip length of 14 mm and a tightening torque of 2 N·m. The IP20 finger-safe front is standard for enclosed panels. The toggle provides local ON/OFF indication, and a padlocking device can be fitted for lockout/tagout during maintenance. No earth-leakage protection is integrated — this is a straight overcurrent and short-circuit device only.
