It carries dual certification to EN/IEC 60898-1 for household-type protection and IEC 60947-2 for industrial isolation duty, giving it a 10 kA breaking capacity at 230 V AC under the 60947-2 standard.
The 20 A rated current (In) matches standard branch-circuit protection for lighting, socket outlets, or small appliance loads on a 20 A circuit. Breaking capacity of 10 kA Icu at 230 V AC under IEC 60947-2 means this breaker can safely interrupt fault currents up to 10,000 A without welding its contacts or rupturing the case. The dual standard lets you specify it for either a domestic DB or an industrial sub-distribution board. Thermal-magnetic trip technology uses a bimetal strip for overload protection and a solenoid for short-circuit response. The thermal element tracks the load current continuously; the magnetic element reacts to the instantaneous peak. This is the standard, field-proven trip mechanism for general-purpose MCBs.
Clip-on mounting to a standard 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715) with a 18 mm width per module — the 1P+N occupies two 9 mm pitches. Neutral is on the left, phase on the right. Toggle control with ON/OFF indication on the front face. Tunnel-type terminals accept 0.33–10 mm² flexible or 0.75–16 mm² rigid conductors, with a tightening torque of 2 N.m and a wire stripping length of 13 mm. IP20 finger-safe protection for panel installation.
