The Schneider A9N26596 is an Acti9 Vigi xC60 add-on residual current device (RCD) — a 4-pole block that clips onto the outgoing side of a compatible MCB to add earth-leakage protection. It's rated 25 A, 400-415 V AC, with a 100 mA sensitivity and Type AC waveform detection. That 100 mA trip threshold means it's sized for general fault protection, not personnel shock prevention (which needs 30 mA or lower). On a 25 A outgoing circuit — lighting, general socket outlets, small distribution — it catches insulation faults and equipment leakage before they escalate.
Clip-on mount to DIN rail, 6 x 9 mm module pitches wide (126 mm). It's an add-on block — screws onto the load side of a compatible Acti9 MCB, no extra wiring between them. The tunnel terminals on the bottom accept 1-25 mm² rigid or 1-16 mm² flexible, stripped 14 mm, torqued to 2 N·m.
