The Schneider Electric A9N26612 is a Vigi xC60 add-on residual current device (RCD) from the Acti9 range, designed to bolt onto the outgoing side of a compatible MCB via screw terminals. It is a 2-pole unit rated for 63 A continuous current with a 100 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, Type AC (sinusoidal AC residual currents only). The trip mechanism is electromechanical and voltage-independent — it clears a ground fault even if the phase voltage collapses, which matters for circuits where the neutral reference could be lost.
63 A at 230-240 V AC means this block handles the full current of a 63 A breaker downstream — no derating needed for the RCD itself at that load. The 100 mA sensitivity is less common than 30 mA; it is specified for circuits where nuisance tripping from normal leakage (long cable runs, heater elements, IT equipment) would be a problem, while still providing earth-fault protection. Type AC means it detects only sinusoidal AC residual currents — not pulsed DC or smooth DC — so it is not suitable for circuits with VFDs, UPS outputs, or EV chargers that generate DC fault currents.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail, 4 modules wide (72 mm). The 74.5 mm depth fits standard Acti9 enclosures. Bottom tunnel terminals accept 1 to 35 mm² rigid or 1 to 25 mm² flexible cable; strip length 14 mm, tighten to 3.5 N·m. The red indicator on the front shows tripped status. IP20 on the body, IP40 inside a modular enclosure — fine for dry indoor panels, not for washdown areas.
