The Schneider Electric A9P44732 is an Acti9 iC40N miniature circuit breaker rated 32 A, 3P+N, with a B curve and a breaking capacity of 10 kA Icu at 400 V AC (EN/IEC 60947-2) and 6000 A Icn (EN/IEC 60898-1). It clips onto DIN rail, occupies 6 x 9 mm pitches (54 mm wide), and uses thermal-magnetic trip technology. The magnetic trip threshold is 3–5 x In per EN/IEC 60898-1, with a tighter 4 x In ±20 % per EN/IEC 60947-2 — so on a 32 A circuit, the instantaneous trip fires between roughly 96 A and 160 A, which suits resistive and light inductive loads where you want fast clearing without nuisance trips from inrush.
Dual-rated to EN/IEC 60898-1 (domestic/commercial) and EN/IEC 60947-2 (industrial). The 6000 A Icn is the lower IEC 60898-1 rating for residential panels. Limitation class 3 (EN/IEC 60898-1) means it limits let-through energy enough to protect downstream equipment in most branch circuits.
Clip-on mounting to DIN rail. 54 mm wide (6 modules). Tunnel terminals accept 1–16 mm² rigid or 1–10 mm² flexible; strip 14 mm and torque to 2 N·m. Neutral on the left, which matters if you're replacing an existing breaker in a panel with a fixed busbar arrangement. IP20 finger-safe on the front; IP40 inside a modular enclosure.
