Acti9 iDPN H VigiArc — RCBO with integrated arc-fault and earth-leakage detection
It combines a 6 A thermal-magnetic MCB (C-curve, 5...10 x In magnetic trip) with integrated earth-leakage and arc-fault detection per EN/IEC 62606 and AS/NZS 61009.1.
The 6 A rated current (In) governs conductor sizing and load — this unit protects a final subcircuit, not a main feeder. The integrated earth-leakage detection (no external RCCB needed) and arc-fault sensing (VigiArc) reduce panel space and wiring complexity: one DIN-rail module handles overcurrent, residual current, and series/parallel arc faults. Limitation class 3 per AS/NZS 61009.1 limits let-through energy under fault, supporting downstream device coordination. Mechanical and electrical durability are both rated at 20,000 cycles — sufficient for normal switching duty in a panel, but not for frequent on/off load-break applications.
Deployment context
The device sits as an outgoer in the distribution board, with top and bottom cable entry. Tropicalisation severity B per IEC 60068-2-30 (28-day damp-heat cycle) confirms suitability for high-humidity environments up to 95% RH at 55 °C, which matters for coastal or unconditioned plant rooms.
