The 6 kA Icn breaking capacity at 230 V AC (EN/IEC 61009-2-1) is the standard domestic and light-commercial fault level; the 10 kA Icu rating (EN/IEC 60947-2) gives headroom for industrial panel coordination studies. This is a 1P+N device — single-pole switched, neutral solid — so it fits single-phase final subcircuits where arc-fault detection is required by code (e.g. EN 62606).
Arc fault detection — what it adds
The 'ARC' suffix means this RCBO includes series and parallel arc-fault detection per EN/IEC 62606. It looks for the high-frequency signature of a loose connection or damaged cable insulation — the kind of fault a standard MCB or RCD won't catch until it becomes a fire. The local signalling includes a dedicated fault-trip LED for arc fault diagnostic, so when it trips you know whether it was an overload, a residual current, or an arc event. That saves chasing ghost trips on a line.
Tunnel terminals accept 1...16 mm² rigid or 1...10 mm² flexible; wire stripping length 14 mm, tightening torque 2 N.m. Cable entry top and bottom, neutral on the left. IP20 finger-safe terminals. The tropicalisation rating (severity B per IEC 60068-2-30, 28 days) means it handles high-humidity environments — 95 % RH at 55 °C — without internal condensation tracking.
