It complies with EN/IEC 60898-1 (MCB standard), EN/IEC 60947-2 (low-voltage switchgear), and EN/IEC 62606 (arc-fault detection), so it meets the requirements for arc-fault protection in many national wiring regulations.
The breaking capacity is 6000 A Icn per EN/IEC 60898-1 at 230 V AC, and 10 kA Icu per EN/IEC 60947-2 — enough for most residential and light-commercial service-entrance fault levels. The 3000 A Icn1 rating (60898-1) covers the lower end of the standard's test sequence. Clip-on mounting to a 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715) and a width of 36 mm (4 x 9 mm pitches) mean it occupies a single module space in a consumer unit or distribution board. The IP20 finger-safe terminals are standard for enclosed panels. Local signalling includes ON/OFF position and a fault-trip LED with arc-fault diagnostics.
Installation notes
Tunnel-type terminals accept 1–10 mm² flexible or 1–16 mm² rigid copper. Cable entry from top or bottom, neutral on the left. Rated for 2000 m operating altitude, pollution degree 2, and tropicalisation severity B (28-day damp-heat cycle per IEC 60068-2-30). Electrical durability is 10 000 cycles, mechanical durability 20 000 cycles.
