The Schneider Electric A9TYB4625 Acti9 VigiARC iC40 is a combined arc fault detection device (AFDD) and residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) in a single 36 mm wide, 1P+N module. It is rated at 25 A and 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, per the datasheet. The Type A-SI (Super Immunised) residual current protection is voltage-independent, meaning it trips on leakage current alone without needing a separate power supply for the detection circuit. This matters for panel builders: the SI classification handles pulsed DC and high-frequency AC leakage from modern switched-mode loads without nuisance tripping.
