The A9W25363 is an add-on residual current device (RCD) from the Acti9 Vigi iC60 range. It clips onto the outgoing side of an iC60 miniature circuit breaker to provide earth-leakage protection. Rated 63 A with 300 mA sensitivity, Type A (pulsating DC and sinusoidal AC fault detection), with a selective (time-delayed) characteristic — meaning it coordinates with downstream RCDs by riding out transient earth faults, so only the faulted branch trips. Three-pole construction (3P) for 400 V AC three-phase networks at 50/60 Hz. Voltage-independent tripping technology — the RCD operates without needing an external power supply, relying on the fault current itself to trigger the mechanism.
Clip-on mounting onto DIN rail. The 117 mm width occupies 7 modules of 9 mm pitch — standard for a 3P RCD in the Acti9 system. Tunnel-type terminals accept 1–35 mm² rigid or 1–25 mm² flexible cable; tightening torque 3.5 N·m. Wire strip length 14 mm. IP20 finger-safe on the front, IP40 within a modular enclosure.
Rated insulation voltage 500 V AC, rated impulse withstand 6 kV — the insulation system holds up under surge conditions typical of industrial mains. The 8/20 µs impulse withstand of 3000 A on the residual current path means the RCD survives lightning-induced or switching transients without nuisance tripping or damage.
