Medium-voltage drive for 995 kW motors
The ATV1200A11906060: This drive accepts a 2970-3630 V supply and delivers up to 995 kW to asynchronous or synchronous motors, with an apparent power rating of 1190 kVA. The 30-pulse diode rectifier front end keeps line-side harmonics low enough to meet IEEE 519 in most installations without add-on filters. Overload capability is defined by two profiles: standard overload handles 1.2 In for 60 s and 1.5 In for 3 s; high overload extends to 1.5 In for 60 s and 1.85 In for 3 s. This lets the drive match either constant-torque or variable-torque load demands without oversizing the power cells.
Floor-standing footprint with separate air flows
The drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure with dedicated air paths for the power section and control compartment. Standard-efficiency configuration measures 3660 mm wide × 1400 mm deep × 2520 mm high; the high-efficiency variant is wider (3960 mm) and taller (2670 mm) with a 1600 mm depth. Forced convection cooling moves 16500-19800 m³/h of air, so the installation site must provide adequate room for intake and exhaust clearance.

The drive includes 4 software-configurable analogue inputs (0-20 mA / 4-20 mA, 250 Ohm impedance), 2 analogue outputs of the same type, and 6 discrete inputs (expandable to 10). Control power requires an external 220 V AC supply at 3 kVA; the cooling fans draw from a separate 380 V AC source. Electrical isolation between power and control circuits is standard.
