The ATV1200A16003333 is a medium-voltage Altivar 1200 drive rated for 1338 kW motor power at 1600 kVA apparent power, fed from a 2970...3630 V supply through an 18-pulse diode rectifier bridge. That 18-pulse front end cuts line-side harmonics below IEEE 519 thresholds without an external filter — one less cabinet to spec and wire. It drives both synchronous and asynchronous motors, with a speed range of 20...100% and overload profiles of 1.2 In for 60 s (standard) or 1.5 In for 60 s (high overload). The 1.5 In high-overload profile matters for applications like crushers or extruders that need short torque bursts without oversizing the drive.
Floor-standing enclosure and site prep
This drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows for the transformer and power cells — that separation keeps the transformer heat out of the electronics compartment.
