The 30-pulse topology cancels the 5th, 7th, 11th, 13th, 17th, and 19th harmonics at the input — you can size the upstream transformer without the usual 30% derating for VFD harmonic content. The drive ships in a floor-standing enclosure with separate air flows for the power cells and the phase-shifting transformer.
