The ATV1200A4703333 is an Altivar 1200 medium-voltage drive rated for 470 kVA apparent power and 393 kW motor output — enough to handle a large pump, compressor, or conveyor in the 3 kV class. Input voltage range is 2970 to 3630 V, line current 100 A, fed through an 18-pulse diode rectifier bridge that reduces line-side harmonics below IEEE 519 thresholds without an external filter. An integrated EMC filter is standard, and the drive meets EN/IEC 61800-3 for conducted emissions in the intended industrial environment.
Footprint, cooling, and panel planning
This is a floor-standing enclosure, not a panel-mount module — standard-efficiency dimensions are 2460 mm wide × 2520 mm high × 1400 mm deep; high-efficiency variant stretches to 2760 × 2670 × 1500 mm. Cooling is forced convection with separate air flows for power and control sections; the standard-efficiency unit moves 9900 m³/h, the high-efficiency version 13200 m³/h — plan for ducting or room HVAC capacity. Ambient temperature range and humidity (0-90 % RH, 0-95 % optional) are per the spec table.

Standard overload: 1.2 × In for 60 s, 1.5 × In for 3 s. High overload: 1.5 × In for 60 s, 1.85 × In for 3 s. The prospective short-circuit current rating is 31.5 kA for 150 ms. The 18-pulse input means no external harmonic filter is required for most applications — the phase-shifting transformer inside the enclosure cancels the 5th and 7th harmonics at the primary side.
