The Schneider ATV6000C150A1111NA3 is a medium-voltage variable speed drive from the Altivar Process ATV6000 range, rated for 1500 kVA apparent power and delivering 1200 kW on normal duty or 1140 kW on heavy duty. It drives synchronous, permanent magnet, and asynchronous motors — so it covers the common motor types in a medium-voltage installation without needing a different drive platform.
The 54-pulse diode rectifier bridge keeps input current THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992. Line current draws 78.8 A on normal duty and 75 A on heavy duty. Power losses run 52.2 kW normal, 49.6 kW heavy. The drive ships as a complete floor-standing enclosure with power cells, phase-shifting transformer, cooling fans, HMI, medium-voltage arrestors, and plinth — so it arrives as a functional assembly, not a stack of loose modules. The 10-inch LCD touch screen is multi-language, which cuts commissioning time if the crew isn't all English-primary.

Cable entry is bottom only — plan your gland plate and busway accordingly. The enclosure footprint is 4160 mm wide × 1600 mm deep × 2751 mm high; that's a substantial floor area, so confirm the substation or motor control center room can take it before you cut the opening. Noise level is 80 dB — hearing protection zone for anyone near it during operation. Two option-card slots (A and B) accept communication modules for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, EtherCAT, plus encoder interfaces (digital, analog, resolver, HTL) and I/O or relay extensions. That covers the common fieldbuses without a gateway box. The control block also has two RJ45 for Ethernet IP/Modbus TCP and one RJ45 for Modbus serial.
