The Schneider Electric ATV6000C190A3333NA3 is a medium-voltage drive from the Altivar Process ATV6000 range, built around an 18-pulse diode rectifier input and IGBT inverter cells with multilevel PWM output. It is sized for a 1520 kW motor in normal duty or 1220 kW in heavy duty, drawing 333 A or 266 A line current respectively. The drive is supplied in a floor-standing enclosure measuring 4460 mm wide by 2687 mm high by 1500 mm deep.
Supply and input architecture
The 18-pulse diode rectifier keeps input current THDI below 3% per IEEE 519-1992, so no external harmonic filter is needed for most utility compliance. The control circuit accepts 100–240 V AC 47–63 Hz or 120–370 V DC, with a separate 400 V AC supply for the cooling fans. An integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3 on the control side and C4 on the power side.
Motor and output ratings
Output voltage is limited to the supply voltage level. The drive handles asynchronous, synchronous, and permanent magnet motors. Power losses run 66.1 kW at normal duty and 53.1 kW at heavy duty, so forced convection cooling is mandatory — the enclosure includes dedicated fan supply.
Control and connectivity
A 10-inch LCD touchscreen provides local control in multiple languages. The control block carries two RJ45 ports for Ethernet IP or Modbus TCP, plus one RJ45 for Modbus serial. Slot A accepts fieldbus option cards for Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D 9, or screw terminals), or EtherCAT. Slot B takes encoder interface modules (5/12 V digital, analog, resolver, or HTL). Eight programmable digital inputs (DI1–DI8, 24 V DC) include two configurable as pulse inputs up to 30 kHz. Analog inputs are configurable for 0–10 V DC or 0–20 mA, 12-bit resolution. Three relay outputs (one NO/NC fault, two NO sequence) and configurable analog outputs (0–10 V DC or 0–20 mA, 10-bit) round out the I/O.
