Panel integration and communication
Cabinet-mount format with forced convection cooling. Pollution degree 2 per IEC 61800-5-1, so clean, non-conductive dust is fine, but oil mist or condensation calls for a higher degree. Communication options go into Slot A: the drive accepts Profibus DP V1, PROFINET, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP/EtherNet/IP, or CANopen (RJ45, SUB-D, or screw terminals). Default serial interface is Modbus RTU on 2-wire RS-485, with baud rates from 4.8 to 38.4 kbit/s. If your PLC speaks EtherNet/IP, order the matching option card — the base unit handles Modbus TCP natively at 10/100 Mbit. Switching frequency is adjustable 2 to 4.9 kHz with derating above 4 kHz; the heavy-duty rating at 2 kHz is the safe starting point for motor thermal headroom. For acoustic noise-sensitive installations, raising it above 4 kHz costs output current capacity — check the derating curve in the manual.
The kit includes the power module, control unit, mounting hardware, and power connection set with fuses — no separate breaker or fuse holder to source for the 50 kA prospective short-circuit rating at the line terminals, as long as the supply is backed by a properly rated disconnect.
