The Schneider Electric ATV6A0C25T4 is a modular Altivar Process ATV600 drive rated for 250 kW at 480 V normal duty (400 hp) with an apparent power of 355 kVA and line current of 427 A under normal duty. Heavy-duty rating steps down to 200 kW / 300 hp with 273 kVA and 328 A. That split matters: normal duty covers centrifugal pumps and fans; heavy duty handles conveyors or extruders where overload margin is tighter. The integrated EMC filter meets IEC 61800-3 category C3, which is the standard for industrial environments with conducted emissions limits up to 300 m of motor cable. No external filter needed for most installations inside a factory shed, but verify local network impedance if the drive feeds a shared transformer.
Safe torque off is built in at SIL3 (IEC 61508 / IEC 13849-1). That means two independent channels to disable torque; the drive supports both STOA and STOB 24 V DC inputs with 2.2 kOhm impedance. No separate safety relay card required for single-axis STO — the control unit handles it directly. The control supply splits into three rails: 24 V DC for digital inputs (19...30 V), 10.5 V DC for a reference potentiometer (1 to 10 kOhm), and a separate 24 V DC supply for STO.
