The C100L35AFM is a 3-pole fixed-mount ComPacT NS new generation MCCB rated 1000 A at 50 °C. The breaking capacity is 150 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC, 50/60 Hz per IEC 60947-2. The MicroLogic 5.0 A electronic trip unit provides LSI protection: long-time overload (L), short-time short-circuit (S), and instantaneous short-circuit (I). The S protection (short-time) allows selectivity with downstream breakers — you can set a delay so the downstream device clears a fault first, keeping this breaker closed to supply other loads. Thermal memory of 20 minutes means the trip curve remembers prior heating, so repeated overloads accumulate correctly. This breaker is designed for distribution applications — main or feeder protection in switchboards, panelboards, or motor control centers. It is manually operated with an LCD display showing measured current (ammeter type,). The fixed-mount, backplate support means it bolts directly to a panel backplate, not a draw-out cradle — plan for 210 mm width, 327 mm height, 147 mm depth. Connection pitch is 70 mm, front-connect both upside and downside, so busbar or cable terminations are accessible from the front.
Mounts on a backplate in a fixed position — no DIN rail, no draw-out cradle. IK07 impact rating withstands a 2 J hammer blow — enough for accidental tool drops during maintenance. Operating altitude is 0–2000 m without derating, 2000–5000 m with derating. Relative humidity 0–95%. Power losses are 34 W at rated current — account for that in panel thermal calculations.
Durability and compliance
Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles; electrical durability varies with load: 2000 cycles at 690 V at In, 3000 cycles at 690 V at In/2, 3000 cycles at 440 V at In, 4000 cycles at 440 V at In/2. That is typical for a distribution MCCB — not a switching device for frequent motor starts. Standards compliance is EN/IEC 60947-2 — the global standard for low-voltage circuit breakers. No earth-leakage protection built in; if ground-fault protection is needed, specify an external relay or a MicroLogic with Vigi module.
