The Schneider Electric C10N44V100 is a ComPacT NSX100N 4-pole moulded-case circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 4.2 electronic trip unit, rated 100 A at 40 °C. The MicroLogic 4.2 provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection — all in one electronic trip unit. The earth-leakage is integrated, so you don't need a separate RCCB or add-on module; it monitors residual current directly through the breaker.
Mounting and integration into a panel
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. The 4-pole form factor with neutral on the left takes 140 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth — measure your enclosure depth before committing; 86 mm is shallow enough for most 200 mm deep enclosures but check the gland plate clearance if you're running cables front-entry (both upside and downside connections are front). The 35 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar systems.
Pollution degree 3 (conforming to IEC 60664-1) means it's rated for conductive pollution environments typical of industrial control panels — not just clean office switchgear. Overvoltage category IV covers the main distribution point. The electrical durability figures (50,000 cycles at 440 V In/2, 30,000 at 440 V In) give you a realistic service life for frequent switching applications like capacitor banks or large motor starters.
