The C10N4TM025C is a Schneider Electric ComPacT NSX100N molded-case circuit breaker, 4-pole, fitted with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit rated 25 A at 50 °C. It belongs to the NSX100 frame (device short name NSX100N) and carries an N breaking capacity code — 50 kA Icu at 415 V AC per IEC 60947-2. That puts it squarely in the distribution-grade MCCB class for commercial and light industrial switchboards where you need high interrupting capacity in a compact footprint (161 mm H × 140 mm W × 86 mm D).
The 25 A thermal-magnetic trip (TM-D) handles overload protection via a thermal bimetal (L protection) and short-circuit protection via a magnetic solenoid (I protection). At 50 °C ambient the breaker is rated full 25 A without derating — important if your panel runs warm. The breaking capacity curve is the real selector: 90 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 50 kA at 415 V, and it still holds 35 kA at 525 V and 10 kA at 690 V. For a 400 V distribution board, the 50 kA Icu gives solid headroom against most utility fault levels. The 4-pole version (neutral left, 1 x Ir setting) suits three-phase plus neutral systems where you want the neutral switched and protected.
Integration and mounting notes
Front connections both upside and downside. IK07 impact rating handles incidental tool drops.
Overvoltage category III, utilization category A. Electrical endurance: 50,000 cycles at 440 V at half rated current, 30,000 at full rated current. Mechanical durability: 50,000 cycles. The breaker carries no integral earth-leakage protection (add a Vigi module externally if needed).
