The Schneider Electric C10R36E040 is a ComPacT NSX100R molded case circuit breaker, part of the ComPacT NSX family, fitted with a MicroLogic 6.2 E electronic trip unit rated at 40 A at 40 °C. This is a three-pole (3P) breaker built to EN/IEC 60947-2, with a breaking capacity code of R — meaning 200 kA Icu at 415 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The 200 kA figure holds at 220/240 V and 380/415 V as well, then steps down to 80 kA at 500 V and 45 kA at 690 V. That kind of headroom makes it a strong choice for high-fault distribution boards where you need selectivity without cascading upstream.
Mounts on a backplate — no DIN rail here. The 105 mm width, 161 mm height, and 86 mm depth fit a standard ComPacT NSX cutout.
The MicroLogic 6.2 E trip unit gives you LSI protection (long-time overload, short-time short-circuit, instantaneous short-circuit) plus ground-fault (G) protection. It's electronic, so you get adjustable curves and an LCD display for reading trip causes, energy metering, and event logs.
Electrical durability is rated at 10,000 cycles at 440 V at full rated current (In), and 20,000 cycles at half current. Operating altitude: 0–2000 m without derating, up to 5000 m with derating.
