MCCB for distribution boards — 50 A, 4P, electronic trip with earth-leakage
The Schneider Electric C11E44V050B is a ComPacT NSXm moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 50 A at 40 °C with a 4-pole (4P) configuration. The MicroLogic 4.1 electronic trip unit adds integrated earth-leakage protection with selectable sensitivity from 30 mA to 5 A (class A or AC), so it handles both overcurrent and ground-fault detection in a single device — no separate RCCB needed downstream.
The 4P configuration with neutral on the left and front-facing compression-lug/busbar terminals simplifies busbar routing in a standard backplate-mounted panel. The 12-module 9 mm pitch and 108 mm width define the DIN-rail footprint. Integrated earth-leakage protection means this MCCB replaces a separate RCD in the same panel space — the MicroLogic 4.1 trip unit senses both overcurrent and residual current through the same set of conductors. Sensitivity is field-adjustable across 30 mA, 100 mA, 300 mA, 500 mA, 1 A, 3 A, and 5 A for class A or class AC detection. For a distribution board feeding socket outlets or wet-area circuits, 30 mA class A covers personnel protection; 300 mA or higher suits fire-prevention on submain feeders.
