What it is and what it does
The Schneider Electric C11F34V025B is a ComPacT NSXm moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) with integrated earth-leakage protection, built to EN/IEC 60947-2. It carries a MicroLogic 4.1 electronic trip unit rated 25 A at 40 °C, three poles, and a breaking capacity of 36 kA at 415 V AC — the F performance level in the NSXm 63F frame. This is the version with the grey (RAL 7016) operating handle and front-connect terminals. The 36 kA at 415 V AC means it can safely interrupt a fault current up to that level without upstream fuses or a larger breaker — sized for distribution panels where the available fault current is known to be under that threshold. The electronic trip unit adds thermal memory (20 minutes before and after tripping), which prevents nuisance reclosing on a hot cable. Integrated earth-leakage protection is selectable: class A or class AC, with sensitivity from 30 mA up to 5 A. That covers both personnel protection (30 mA) and equipment ground-fault detection at higher thresholds. The breaker itself is category A (no intentional short-time delay), so it coordinates with downstream devices on a selective scheme.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on a backplate — horizontal or vertical, flat against the surface. The 9-module pitch (9 x 9 mm = 81 mm) and overall dimensions of 108 mm wide, 144 mm high, 80 mm deep fit standard ComPacT NSXm cutouts. Connection pitch is 35 mm with spreaders, 27 mm without. Front-connect terminals accept compression lugs or busbars. IP40 enclosure protection and IK07 impact resistance are adequate for panel-mount indoor use — not for washdown or outdoor exposure. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution or dry non-conductive that becomes conductive) and overvoltage category IV (equipment at the origin of the installation) match typical distribution switchboard conditions.
