The Schneider Electric C16B34V100 is a ComPacT NSX earth leakage circuit breaker on the NSX160B frame, 3-pole, rated 100 A at 40 °C. It carries a MicroLogic 4.2 electronic trip unit with integrated earth-leakage protection — the R function is built in, not an add-on module. Breaking capacity is 25 kA Icu at 380/415 V AC 50/60 Hz per EN/IEC 60947-2, with 40 kA at 220/240 V and 20 kA at 440 V.
The electronic MicroLogic 4.2 provides L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit with fixed delay), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and R (earth-leakage) protection curves — all four are active simultaneously. The earth-leakage function is integrated, so no external RCD or Vigi module is needed, which saves one slot in the panel. The NSX160B frame accepts plug-in or fixed connections, and the 105 mm width fits standard distribution panel cutouts.
Mounts on a backplate in horizontal or vertical orientation. Front connections on both line and load sides. The 35 mm connection pitch matches standard busbar systems. IP40 front face, IK07 impact rating. The toggle control provides manual ON/OFF switching; the IΔn rotary switch sets the earth-leakage threshold. Five accessory slots are available for auxiliary contacts, shunt trips, or motor mechanisms.

Mechanical durability is 40,000 cycles. Electrical durability at 440 V In is 20,000 cycles; at 440 V In/2 it reaches 40,000 cycles. Operating altitude is 0–2000 m without derating, 2000–5000 m with derating. Relative humidity range 0–95 %. Thermal memory holds for 20 minutes before and after a trip event, which prevents nuisance reclosing on a hot circuit.
