Trip unit and protection logic
The MicroLogic 6.2 E provides four protection functions: L (long-time overload), S (short-time short-circuit), I (instantaneous short-circuit), and G (ground-fault). The MicroLogic 6.2 E trip unit includes an energy meter and communicates power quality, energy metering, instantaneous and demand values, maintenance indicators, protection and alarm settings, time-stamped histories, and demand current/power maximeters/minimeters. This data can be read locally via the LCD display or integrated into a building management system through optional communication modules, supporting energy monitoring and predictive maintenance without additional metering hardware.
