It is rated for distribution applications on AC networks at 50/60 Hz, with a breaking capacity of 40 kA Icu at 240 V AC (IEC 60947-2) and 36 kA at 415 V AC. The 400 A rating at 40 °C makes this breaker a fit for large feeder or main-switch duty in commercial and industrial panels where upstream fault current is high enough to demand the 40 kA interrupt rating at 240 V.
The breaker complies with EN/IEC 60947-2, carries an IK07 impact rating, and is rated IP40 for the enclosure.
The 185 mm width and 255 mm height fit standard switchgear cubicle cutouts; the 110 mm depth leaves clearance for rear-connected busbars or cable lugs. The toggle control provides manual on/off/tripped indication. Neutral is on the left (4P configuration). Six accessory slots are available for shunt trips, auxiliary contacts, or motor operators.
