The Schneider Electric C63F32M500 is a ComPacT NSX 630F moulded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) with a MicroLogic 2.3 M electronic trip unit, rated 500 A at 65 °C. It is designed for motor protection in three-phase AC networks at 50/60 Hz. That gives selectivity headroom for a downstream feeder without cascading upstream. For a motor-protection application that means the breaker matches the full-load current of a large motor or a group of motors fed through a common bus.
Motor tripping classes 5, 10, and 20 are selectable, letting you match the breaker's overload curve to the motor's thermal withstand. Class 20 is typical for high-inertia loads like fans or centrifuges; class 5 for pumps that start unloaded. The electronic trip unit also provides local signalling: a flashing green LED indicates the breaker is ready to operate; a red LED at 95 % Ith warns of temperature approaching the set point.
IP40 enclosure protection keeps out tools and small debris; IK07 impact resistance handles typical panel-door knocks. Relative humidity range 0...95 % covers non-condensing conditions in unheated electrical rooms.
