The Schneider Electric C63W36M500 is a ComPacT NSX motor-protection circuit breaker with a MicroLogic 6.3 E-M electronic trip unit, rated 500 A at 65 °C and delivering 100 kA Icu at 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) per IEC 60947-2. The E-M trip curve offers L (long-time overload), So (short-time short-circuit), I (instantaneous), and G (ground-fault) protection, with motor tripping classes 5, 10, 20, and 30 selectable. That means you can match the trip class to the motor start profile — a class 10 for a standard pump, class 20 for a high-inertia fan.
The 3-pole design with front connections (upside and downside) simplifies bus-bar or cable routing in a backplate-mounted panel.
The 140 mm width, 255 mm height, and 110 mm depth fit standard MCC bucket cutouts. The LCD display on the MicroLogic 6.3 E-M shows energy metering, demand current, power, phase sequence, and time-stamped event logs — useful for commissioning without a separate power meter. The toggle control and flashing green/red LEDs provide local status at a glance.

Rated for 15,000 mechanical cycles and 8,000 electrical cycles at 440 V at half rated current (In/2), or 4,000 cycles at full In. At 690 V, electrical durability is 6,000 cycles at In/2 and 2,000 at In. Operating altitude is 0–2000 m without derating, 2000–5000 m with derating.
