The DF2FGA20 is a DIN NH000 blade fuse from the TeSys GS range, rated 20 A at 690 V AC with an aM (motor-protection) curve. It comes as a set of three, without striker, and is designed for protection duty in industrial control panels — think motor branch circuits, feeder protection, or general short-circuit backup where the aM characteristic lets it ride through motor inrush without nuisance blowing.
The NH000 fuse size is the physical blade format — it slots into a matching NH000 fuse holder or disconnect switch (like the TeSys GS fuse switch disconnectors). The aM curve means it's a motor-protection fuse: it allows the high inrush current of a motor start (typically 6-8x FLA for a few seconds) without opening, but clears fast on a hard short. At 20 A and 690 V AC, it covers a 3-phase motor load up to roughly 7.5 kW at 400 V or 11 kW at 690 V — but always size to the motor full-load amps, not the fuse rating. The 690 V AC rating gives you headroom on 400 V or 480 V systems; just watch that the voltage rating is AC only, not DC.
Integration note — panel fit and marking
These mount in a standard DIN NH000 fuse holder or switch — no special tooling. The set-of-3 format is typical for 3-phase protection; each fuse is individually replaceable. No striker means no auxiliary contact to signal a blown fuse — if you need blown-fuse indication, you'd need a striker version or an external fuse monitor. The aM curve is printed on the fuse body; keep the packaging label for traceability if your QA process requires it.
