Switch disconnector for distribution — 800 A, AC-23A duty
The Schneider Electric ENW13274 is a fixed-mount switch disconnector from the EasyPact NW range, rated 800 A in AC-23A utilisation category at 440 V AC 50/60 Hz. That AC-23A rating means it handles the high inrush of motor loads or mixed resistive-inductive circuits — not just passive distribution. Three poles, rear-connected, with a 70 mm connection pitch without spreader.
Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 1000 V AC — the switchgear can live in a 690 V system without derating the insulation path. Impulse withstand (Uimp) at 12 kV covers the typical transient environment for industrial distribution. Short-time withstand (Icw) is 50 kA for 1 second at 220–440 V; that tells you the switch can ride through a fault long enough for an upstream breaker to clear, assuming the system SCCR is coordinated. Making capacity (Icm) is 75 kA at the same voltage — it can close onto a bolted fault without welding contacts.
Fixed mounting on a rail base plate. The footprint is 276 mm wide × 301 mm high × 196 mm deep — allow for rear cable access and the vertical or horizontal connection orientation. IP30 protection: fine inside a locked panel, not for washdown areas.
