Mounting and connection — fixed base plate, rear terminals
Fixed mounting on a rail base plate. Connection pitch is 70 mm without spreader, and the rear-located terminals accept vertical or horizontal cable entry. Dimensions are 346 mm wide × 301 mm high × 196 mm deep — check the gland-plate layout before cutting the back panel. IP30 protection keeps fingers out but expects a cabinet door.
Withstand and making capacity — fault-current handling
Rated short-time withstand current (Icw) is 50 kA for 1 second at 220–440 V — that is the current the switch can carry without damage during a fault while the upstream breaker clears. Rated short-circuit making capacity (Icm) is 75 kA at the same voltage. Insulation voltage (Ui) is 1000 V AC, so the switch can sit on a 690 V bus without derating the insulation system.
