The ENW15562 is a microprocessor-based Trip System 2.0 control unit for the Schneider Electric EasyPact NW range of air circuit breakers. It provides LI protection — overload (long-time) and instantaneous short-circuit — for standard industrial applications on AC networks at 50/60 Hz. The trip unit rating spans 630 to 6300 A, and the long-time pick-up (Ir) is adjustable from 0.4 to 1 x In, with ten settings each for both Ir and the instantaneous pick-up (Ii) range of 1.5 to 10 x Ir. That granularity lets you fine-tune the curve to the load without swapping hardware.
The long-time delay (Tr) is adjustable from 0.5 to 24 s at 6 x Ir, with an accuracy of 0 to -20%. This sets how long the breaker holds during a sustained overload before tripping — critical for coordinating with downstream feeders and avoiding nuisance trips on motor starting inrush. Thermal memory is included, so the trip unit tracks the thermal history of the conductor after a trip. If you reclose quickly, the remaining thermal capacity is accounted for — prevents re-energizing into an already-hot circuit. Fault indication covers overload, short-circuit, and internal fault — three distinct LED states on the front face. That saves panel walk-down time during commissioning or post-fault diagnostics: you see what type of event caused the trip without plugging in a laptop. Mounting mode is drawout and fixed, meaning the same control unit fits both the drawout cradle and the fixed-mount breaker chassis. The neutral position is left, and protected poles can be configured as 3D, 4D, or 3D + N/2 — the neutral protection setting is selectable from off, 0.5 x Ir, or 1 x Ir.
