1000 A drawout breaker for distribution — EVS10H3MW20
Trip unit is the EVS Trip System2.0, electronic, with overload (long-time) and instantaneous short-circuit protection. Thermal memory holds for 20 minutes before and after tripping — meaning if a downstream fault heats the breaker and you reclose quickly, the trip curve remembers the thermal state and won't nuisance-trip on the next start. Pollution degree 4 (IEC 60664-1) confirms it's rated for industrial environments with conductive dust or condensation — no derating needed for dirty panel air.
Integration and deployment
Mounts on a rail base plate in a drawout configuration — rear-connected, with vertical or horizontal connection position. The 115 mm connection pitch (without spreader) matches standard bus-bar spacing for switchgear lineups. IP40 enclosure protection means it's fine inside a ventilated cabinet but not for washdown or outdoor exposure. Suitability for isolation is confirmed per IEC 60947-2, so it can serve as a visible-break disconnect in the distribution path.
