The EZC100H2050 is a 2-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker from the Schneider Electric EasyPact EZC100H series, rated 50 A at 40 °C. The TM-D trip unit provides short-circuit and overload protection. The H breaking capacity code means it delivers 10 kA Icu at 550 V AC, 30 kA at 400–415 V AC, and 50 kA at 220–240 V AC — so it can interrupt fault currents up to those levels without upstream coordination issues. For DC circuits, it breaks 10 kA at 125 V DC (1P) or 250 V DC (2P). The 690 V AC rated insulation voltage and Category A utilization confirm it is designed for distribution panelboard duty, not motor-starting cycles. IP20 finger-safe terminals and IK07 impact resistance suit it for backplate mounting in a locked panel.
Deployment context
Mounts fixed to a backplate with front-front connections at a 25 mm pitch. The toggle control provides positive contact indication — the handle position shows whether the contacts are open or closed, which aids troubleshooting during commissioning.
Designed to EN/IEC 60947-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2, plus JIS C8201-2-2 and GB/T 14048.2. No earth-leakage protection is integrated; the neutral pole is unprotected. The 13,000-cycle mechanical durability is typical for distribution breakers — not a high-cycle motor-switching device.
