The EZC250H3125 is a 3-pole thermal-magnetic circuit breaker from Schneider Electric's EasyPact EZC250H line, rated 125 A at 40 °C and 125 A at 50 °C — the lower ambient derates the trip unit, so a 125 A continuous load at 50 °C needs the next frame up. The TM-D trip unit provides short-circuit and overload protection with a fixed thermal and magnetic curve, no adjustment. Breaking capacity varies by voltage: 36 kA Icu at 400–415 V AC is the figure most panel builders will check for 400 V distribution — it tells you the breaker can safely clear a fault up to 36 kA without welding contacts or rupturing the case. For DC circuits, it delivers 30 kA Icu at 125 V DC (1-pole) and 30 kA Icu at 250 V DC (2-pole). IK07 means it survives a 2 J impact, typical for switchgear handling.
This breaker mounts to a backplate with fixed mounting — not DIN rail, so plan for screw-down lugs or a dedicated mounting bracket. Both line and load connections are front-facing, so busbar or cable routing stays on one plane — useful for stacked breaker layouts. Connection pitch is 35 mm, which matches standard busbar spacing for 3-pole breakers. The toggle control gives positive contact indication — you can see the contact position through the front window. Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles — fine for distribution, not for frequent switching duty.
The breaker is certified to GB/T 14048.2, EN/IEC 60947-2, and JIS C8201-2-2. Network frequency is 50/60 Hz. The device is designed for distribution applications.
