The Schneider Electric EZC250H3175 is an EasyPact EZC250H circuit breaker — a 3-pole, 175 A thermal-magnetic unit with a TM-D trip block, built for distribution duty in fixed-mount backplate panels. It carries a 36 kA Icu at 400 V AC (IEC 60947-2) and a 25 kA Icu at 440 V AC, so it clears faults up to that level without cascading upstream. IP20 finger-safe terminals and IK07 impact resistance suit it for enclosed switchboards where incidental contact is the only exposure.
The H breaking-capacity code means this breaker handles 36 kA Icu at 380–415 V AC (the common 400 V class) and 85 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC. On DC circuits it manages 30 kA Icu at 125 V DC (1P) or 250 V DC (2P). These numbers govern coordination with downstream devices — the high Icu at 240 V AC lets it serve as a main breaker in a split-bus panel where the utility fault current is high, while the 10 kA Icu at 550 V AC covers 480 V delta feeds.
Integration notes
Fixed-mount backplate installation — no DIN-rail adapter. Dimensions: 165 mm height, 105 mm width, 60 mm depth. The toggle handle provides positive contact indication, so at a glance you see whether the contacts are open or closed.
