The EZC250H3200 is a 3-pole moulded-case circuit breaker from the Schneider EasyPact series, rated 200 A at 40 °C ambient (derated to 200 A at 50 °C per the TM-D trip unit curve). Breaking capacity varies with system voltage: 85 kA at 240 V AC, 36 kA at 415 V AC, and 10 kA at 550 V AC. That 10 kA at 550 V is the limiting case for a 480 V line-to-line system; the 36 kA at 415 V covers most European 400 V panels. The part is utilisation category A, meaning it is not intended for frequent switching under load — it is a distribution breaker, not a motor-starter disconnect. Mounting is fixed (backplate), not DIN-rail, so plan for a dedicated panel footprint. The front-connection terminals (upside and downside) accept cable lugs at a 35 mm pitch. IP20 finger-safe on the front face; IK07 impact rating means it withstands a 2 J hammer blow, adequate for a locked panel. The toggle handle gives positive contact indication — you can visually confirm the contact position without removing the cover. No earth-leakage or neutral protection built in; this is a straight 3-pole breaker with three protected poles and no neutral pole.
The IEC 60947-2 certification covers the breaking capacity claims, isolation suitability, and pollution degree 3 rating.
