The EZC250N44100 is a 4-pole EasyPact EZC250N moulded-case circuit breaker from Schneider Electric, fitted with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit rated 100 A at 40 °C (100 A at 50 °C). It is a distribution-class breaker (Category A per IEC 60947-2) with a fixed backplate mount and front-facing connections — designed for panel builders who need a compact, no-frills main or feeder breaker in a 4P footprint. Rated operational voltage goes to 550 V AC 50/60 Hz and 250 V DC; insulation voltage is 690 V AC. The breaking capacity code N delivers 20 kA Icu at 440 V AC, 25 kA at 380–415 V AC, and 50 kA at 220–240 V AC — enough for most commercial and light industrial distribution boards. At 125 V DC single-pole it still holds 20 kA Icu. That keeps the BOM simple but means the 100 A rating is the only setting; if the load draw changes, the breaker itself must be swapped.
Mounts fixed to a backplate via the four screw holes — no DIN-rail clip, so plan for a dedicated mounting footprint. Dimensions are 165 mm high, 140 mm wide, 60 mm deep, with a 35 mm connection pitch on the front terminals. IP20 finger-safe protection on the front, IK07 impact resistance. The toggle handle gives positive contact indication (ON/OFF/TRIPPED) visible through the enclosure window.
Designed and tested to EN/IEC 60947-1 and -2, JIS C8201-2-2, and GB/T 14048.2. Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles.
