The Schneider Electric EZCV250H3100 is a 3-pole EasyPact EZCV250H moulded-case circuit breaker rated 100 A at 40 °C with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit. Its breaking capacity reaches 100 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC, 36 kA at 380–415 V, and 25 kA at 440 V — all conforming to IEC 60947-2. That 100 kA figure at the common 240 V distribution level means it handles high fault currents typical of transformer-fed panels without cascading upstream, a key coordination advantage for the site electrical engineer. The breaker includes integral earth-leakage protection alongside overload and short-circuit functions, so it covers ground-fault detection in a single device — no separate RCCB needed downstream. The TM-D trip unit provides fixed thermal-magnetic curves suited for distribution and general-purpose loads. Category A utilisation (no intentional short-time delay) keeps it selective with upstream devices only when the upstream breaker is also Category A or the fault level stays within the instantaneous threshold. The breaker is certified for isolation (IEC 60947-2), meaning it can serve as a visible disconnect when locked off. Mechanical durability is 10,000 cycles, adequate for infrequent switching in a distribution board.
Mounting is fixed to a backplate. Connection pitch is 35 mm. Dimensions: 165 mm height, 105 mm width, 68 mm depth.
